Julie Agnete Vang, Trine Dyrholm, and Anne Gry Henningsen drink and swim completely nude in a steamy scene from The Commune (2016)

Julie Agnete Vang, Trine Dyrholm and Anne Gry Henningsen strip off for a wild, boozy nude swim in “The Commune” (2016), Thomas Vinterberg’s warm Danish drama about a group of friends sharing a big house in 1970s Copenhagen. On a grey, chilly day, the whole gang gathers on a wooden bathing pier jutting out into the sea. Everyone strips completely naked and charges down the pier, cheering and shrieking as they leap into the icy water. Men and women splash and whoop, waving bottles of beer in the air, while others stand on the steps laughing and egging them on. A man raises his arms in triumph as he wades back out of the waves. Back on the pier, the friends huddle together in towels and scarves, swigging drinks and grinning with chattering teeth. Then the group walk back along the boardwalk arm in arm, their bare butts on full show. Joyful, rowdy and wonderfully free spirited.
