Kristel Breugelmans in a Brutal Bathroom Scene from the Horror Film Laundry Man (2016)

Kristel Breugelmans appears in “Laundry Man” (2016), a low budget horror thriller built around a violent intruder and the women he targets. In this scene her character, wearing glasses and partly undressed, is confronted by a man in a vest who attacks her at home. He beats her and drags her across the floor before leaving her bloodied in the bathtub, and the camera stays on the aftermath long enough to make the danger feel real. Kristel is topless during part of the scene, but it is staged as a horror sequence about violence and fear, not as an erotic moment. The film keeps its cast small and its settings simple, relying on cramped rooms, harsh lighting and sudden bursts of brutality to unsettle the audience. Viewers who follow independent horror will recognise the style: gritty, unpolished and deliberately uncomfortable. This clip gives a clear sense of the film’s tone and of the menace at the centre of its story, with Kristel’s character as one of the man’s victims rather than a love interest.
