Yvonne Strahovski slips out of her clothes for a steamy scene in season seven of “Dexter” (2012). It takes place in a strange room lit up with strings of white fairy lights and decorated with Christmas trees, the kind of hideaway only this show could invent. Yvonne, with her blonde hair down, lies back on a table while Dexter stands over her, and then the tension breaks and they are kissing. She stands up and lets her dress fall to the floor, showing her bare back, then pulls him close. They have sex right there among the fairy lights, her moving on top while his hands roam over her body, and the camera moves between close ups of her face and his. Later the roles switch, with Dexter stripped to the waist and his arms stretched over his head while she takes control. It all ends with the two of them breathless and tangled together. A dark, intense and very sexy scene from one of TV’s twistiest shows.
